We offer a full range of alpaca fiber processing services tailored to your fiber and goals. Whether you want roving for spinning, batts for felting, or finished skeins ready for sale, we’ve got you covered. All fiber processing prices are based on the incoming weight.

Rovings & Batts

Our roving and batting services are ideal for spinners, felters, and crafters who want soft, lofty alpaca fiber in a ready-to-use format.

INCLUDES: Tumbling, washing, picking, carded or Pin-drafted Roving available Fiber requirements minimum of 3″ to 11″ Minimum incoming weight of 3 pounds $25 set up fee for less than 3 pounds

Spin/Ply

We spin a variety of yarn weights to match your needs and fiber quality, from delicate lace to bulky, rustic yarns.

INCLUDES: Tumble, wash, pick, card, pin drafting, spin (2 or 3 ply) Steamed to set twist and skein winding (Call for pricing if more than 3 ply is desired) Fiber requirements minimum of 3″ to 11″ Minimum incoming weight 3 pounds, 5 pounds for bulky yarns

Quality Expectations

We understand that your alpaca fiber is a labor of love—the result of time, care, and attention from your herd. That’s why we approach every fleece with that same level of care.

We strive to spin all fibers without blending unless specifically requested. Occasionally, due to the fiber characteristics, we find we are unable to spin certain fiber without adding a blending material to achieve satisfactory results. Three Points Fiber Mill will contact you immediately should your fiber require blending to achieve the desired final product. If you do not want your fiber blended we will return it to you and only charge you for the processing completed, generally the pin-drafted roving fee.
