Three Points Fiber Mill is a small family owned and operated semi-worsted fiber processing mill specializing in alpaca and sheep’s wool. We’re a custom fiber processing mill that produces yarn, roving, batts and felted fabric for small farms across the country. Situated in Sunman, Indiana, adjacent to our alpaca farm, the mill is conveniently located just a mile off Interstate 74, between Cincinnati, OH and Indianapolis, IN.
Our mission is to provide personalized, small-batch fiber processing services that highlight the unique qualities of each fleece. We are committed to sustainability, quality, and supporting the local fiber community.
We handle each step of the process in-house and keep you updated along the way. If your fiber presents challenges—such as very fine micron size or low crimp—we’ll discuss options with you. If blending is needed to create a high-quality final product, we’ll let you know before proceeding. Our services include:

We process one order at a time. There’s no commingling, and we don’t combine fleeces unless you specifically request it. What you send us is what you get back—only better.
We understand the differences between Huacaya and Suri alpaca, and how their structure, staple length, and behavior influence spinning. We’re equally experienced in handling a wide range of wool breeds and adjusting our process for best results.
We believe fiber processing is a partnership. If there’s a problem, we’ll call. If there’s a better option, we’ll offer it. If you’re unsure, we’ll guide you through the process.
You don’t need to be a commercial farm to work with us. We happily process just a few pounds of fiber and offer a low 3-pound minimum for most services. We also support new fiber farmers with education and approachable service.

The idea for the mill started with a simple realization. Many small and midsize farms struggle to find mills that offer dependable, small batch service without sacrificing quality. Mike and Nancy saw the need for a place that would treat every order with respect, provide clear communication, and deliver finished products that customers could take pride in. So they got to work, combining their experience and passion to bring that vision to life.
